Many of us aspire to be wanders. How romantic, the idea of traveling aimlessly, road tripping around the world driven only by our lust for adventure.
With this image in mind, Jessi Sader created her clothing line – FXDressed.
Jessi began her fashion career in her teens, sewing her way to Grateful Dead concerts around the country. She was bound to be a success. Passion for textile and travel drives her creativity. A true gypsy vagabond soul, soon she’ll be traveling cross country in a RV a client generously gifted to her. Having established her clothing line here on the east coast, she will be setting up shop on the west coast as well.
FXDressed designs are based on simple construct. The clothing is easy to wear. Made of soft and flexible knits, they are comfortable and travel well. But the really great thing is that they look fabulous – on everyone! (Even me!!)
Jessi states, “There’s a print for everybody, anyone can wear it. My clothes are designed to make you feel good about yourself.” And take it from me, they do. I am one of those extremely fussy people who hates to shop because I never seem to find anything I like. I fell in love with FXDressed at the Artful Gifts show in Northport. I couldn’t wait to do a photo shoot and article with Jessi.
The FXDressed line is made on antique sewing machines by Jessi and other skilled independent seamstresses in Maine. The clothing line will continue to be made in Maine while Jesse travels.
FXDressed can be found at a variety of boutiques across Maine and New England. See FXDressed.com/boutiques for a list.
Have you ever been to the mall and couldn’t find a thing to wear?! Need something to freshen up your wardrobe for spring? Search out the line and try it on. You’ll just love it!
