Everyday Pottery is the work of Mary Trotochaud. She forms functional stoneware pottery on the wheel, created for everyday use.
“Every day I look out my studio windows to the colors of Maine. The blue of the summer and winter skies, the green of the deep woods and the riot of colors of flower beds and vegetable gardens – all inspire and inform the colors of my pottery.”
The gardens and studio will both be open for touring on August 30 and 31st from 10-5. Bird baths and bird feeders will also be available at the open house.
I love how her work adds a subtle contrast to the garden landscape.
Weather permitting the pizza oven will be fired up as well!
Everyday Pottery Studio and gardens are located at 103 Northport Rd in Belmont off Rt. 52 via Ryan Rd. For more information call 207-342-2251 or visit www.marytrotochaud.com
